7 Powerful Ways To Raise Your Vibration Now
May 27, 2026
Planetary tensions continue tightening their grip as wars, recessions, natural disasters and political divide rage on. For the last half decade, humanity has faced a relentless onslaught of challenges in our attempt to build a new world together. And while it may seem hopeless, there is good news: the vibration of Earth and all of us in it are raising the global frequency despite such adversity!
This is important to undertand because on the outside it looks to be the exact opposite. However, what is being shown is in its essence, a clearing. The planet and its people are purging old pains, power structures, and imprisonment. And we will continue to do so. That is why now more than ever, we must continue raising our own vibrations as individuals. First, so we can shield and protect ourselves along with our immediate communities. But too so we may continue the collective momentum forward, showing up as relentless as the obstacles that seek to keep us from doing so.
With that, here are 7 powerful ways to raise your vibration in an instant. Each one connects to a chakra, starting with the root and working up in order:
1. Intentional Grounding
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard of grounding before. And if you have indeed dwelled beneath a large stone for any amount of time, then you’ve surely garnered the positive effects of this timeless technique. But have you ever tried intentional grounding?
Intentional grounding takes the practice a step further. This is because you are now adding your attention and willpower to the equation. This method has been widely taught by Warren Grossman, Ph.D., who ran the Institute of Light up until recently. He shares the power of this practice in his book “To Be Healed By The Earth”.
Here’s how it works:
- Place your bare feet on the Earth
- Relax and bring your mind to the present moment
- Focus your attention on the sensation of your feet and the energy moving up them
Yes, that’s all it takes! By doing so, you will become conscious of the frequencies eminating from the ground begin to surge through your feet and up your body. Remain concentrated for a few minutes, and you will notice yourself relax and ease within your surroundings.
This can also be done by sitting or lying on the ground. The Earth’s frequencies can travel up to 600 miles above the surface, so don’t stress too much on clothing. Shoes on the other hand do inhibit the experience significantly, so aim for bare feet when standing.

2. Food Blessing
I think our ancestors had it figured out when they prayed before a meal or blessed their food. And while you won’t often see it in a public restaurant, many families still practice this effective ritual.
In his book “The Hidden Messages in Water”, Dr. Masaru Emoto revealed his scientific findings on the intelligence of water. He found that water retains and responds to human thoughts, emotions, words and even writings. These vibrations can and do change the very structure of the molecules. And it can work for food as well.
Whenever you eat (or drink), you have the opportunity to embue your sustenance with a vibration of your choosing. Be it love, gratitude, joy, peace, health, or happiness, you can literally shift the reality of your food simply by directing your will towards it.
Here’s an example:
Place your hands over your meal. Briefly align your internal state with the frequency you wish to place within your food. Send the energy down into it for 5-30 seconds. You can even speak out loud to amplify the results. Doing this even once per day can have tremendous positive effects, resulting in an increased vibration within you.
3. Cutting Cords
When we connect, commit, or contract with another entity, whether consciously or unconsciously, we create an energetic cord. This is of benefit, as it allows for energies and information to flow between the two on a deeper level. However, if that relationship goes south, or is no longer of service to us, then those very cords can keep us from ascending to higher vibrations.
Think about a past job, relationship, or wound that is long gone. Did you severe the ties comepletely? While saying goodbye is one thing, energetically letting go is another act entirely.
If you want to free yourself from old ties that might be holding you back, try this exercise out!
Cutting Cord Exercise:
Start with one old bond. It works better to do each individually, so you can fully clear the bind. In your mind’s eye, see the past entity in front of you. Now view the energetic cord between you. With imaginary scissors, or your hands, cut the cord and speak the following; “I cut all previous ties between us, physically, mentally, spiritually and energetically.” Notice how you feel afterwards. Be sure to do this with love, as that is the ultimate purpose of this exercise. Go ahead and repeat this as many times as you have old cords.

4. Self Love
Often it is the hardest things we do that yield the greatest rewards. Self love is no exception. Each of us struggle in some way to love ourselves, because we are so very judgemental towards the parts of us we cannot escape. But loving the self is perhaps the most effective tool we have at raising our frequency. Without it, no matter how much we accomplish, do or give, we will fall short of our potential; thus limiting our spiritual progress. Worse, we will never know the fullest power of love, and will push others away from us in the process.
This practice is about accepting yourself, in all your faults, failures, fears, shortcomings, sins, and mistakes. It’s about unlocking the infinite potential and potency of love that is already inside you, waiting to be freed. Don’t hesitate another second! For you are so worthy of it.
Mirror Exercise:
Find a mirror. Place your hands on your heart. Gaze into your eyes. See the entirety of the universe inside of yourself. Now bring that immeasurable power of love, which resides within you as it does in all things, into your heart. Allow the force of it to light up your being. Allow it to hold you, in your body, and in your mind, until your spirit shines through with its whole truth. Finally, know that you are loved, that you know love, and that you are love itself.
This underrated practice can have profound effects when done with intention. Aim for a mimimum of once per week.
5. Speaking Truth
Aligned with the throat chakra, speaking truth is a powerful way to raise your vibration. When we hold back our truth we misalign ourselves greatly. Furthermore, when we lie, we lower our frequency to a devistating degree. If we are to become our true selves, that is, the unconditional love and light that is the Source, then we must embody the truth of it in every cell of our being.
To begin, start by being honest with yourself. Identify where you’re lying to yourself, whether it be about where you’re at in life, your relationships, health, finances, or wherever you feel there may be blinders. While this can be difficult at times, it will pay off serious divides in the long run. Next, aim to atune to your authenticity. What parts of yourself are you holding back out of fear of judgement? How can you express yourself in ways that resonate with you to your core?
Progressing, you can then begin to speak truth in the world around you. The thoughts you previously held back. The facts you used to shelter. The knowing you hid for so long. Be honest with others about what you think and feel. This does not need to be malicious or hurtful in the slightest. For with love, the truth is carried softly and with strength.
Finally, you can begin to create your truth. What is it you wish were true about yourself? How do you wish you change your reality? This can be cultivated through the magic of manifestation.
Affirmation Exercise:
Write down 10 things you want to create in your life. Maybe it is more money. Maybe it’s more peace. Maybe it is healthier habits. Whatever it is, write them down and speak them allowed each morning. You will be pleasantly surprised at the changes they will induce.
6. Seated Meditation
If you thought you’d get away with not having to meditate, think again! Dont fret though, as it doesn’t have to be a complicated happening, reserved for only the monks and spiritual savants. Instead this practice should be viewed as more of a way of being than a tool. For meditation is as natural as sleeping or eating. Only, our culture put it on such a pedestal that it can be overwhelming to start if you’ve never done it before. Luckily there’s a simple solution.
The key to meditation is to realize you’re already doing it throughout your day. When you take a few minutes to stretch in the morning, or look outside your window in traffic, when you take in a breath of fresh air, or lay in bed at night just before you doze off. Meditation is the art of tuning yourself. And these micro tunings are proof that you can indeed, meditate.
That being said, formal or intentional meditation can amplify the desired outcome, be it more presence, stillness, alignment, peace, manifestation, or other. It has also been scientifically proven to reduce anxiety, pain, and stress, as well as improve cognition, emotional regulation, immune function, and a plethora of other benefits.
Meditating can be a lot like going to the gym. There’s cardio, strength training, functional fitness, yoga, rehabilitation training. Where do you start right?! Well, just like the gym, the most important thing is simply showing up. Here’s a easy meditation that you can implement into your routine to raise that ever climbing frequency of yours!
Basic Meditation Exercise:
Find a quiet place, whether inside or outside. Sit in the classic meditation position. This allows your chakras to align with both the earth and the stars. Start with a few intentional deep breaths. As you do, allow the mind to notice the breath, curiously rather than forcefully. As thoughts arise, attempting to pull your attention away, allow them to pass by as a cloud in the afternoon sky. Continue focusing on your breath, while settling in to nothing but being itself.
You can practice this for 5-15 minutes per day, increasing your time as you feel more comfortable. Remember, the goal isn’t to try and stop thoughts, for that is impossible. Instead you should aim to let them fall away, weakening their power over you as you regain your presence.

7. Practicing Joy
What would the point be if we can’t have any fun with this whole healing thing? Joy maintains one of the highest frequencies on the emotional spectrum, and can be used to your advantage when embarking on your spiritual journey (or any other journey for that matter).
What makes you tick? What fills your cup? What speaks to your soul? These are the maps to producing more joy in your everyday life. Do them! Embrace their blessings. Continue to build your connection with them. Additionally, you can try the joy exercise below to intentionally activate joy whenever you wish.
Joy Exercise:
Start with a smile. Hold the smile as you think of all the things that make you do so. Your family and friends. Wild adventures. Activities and hobbies, or art that moves you. Allow these special memories to fill you up, as if your vessel were a cup, and light is being poured into you, covering every crevice. Embed this truth of joy inside of yourself, so that you may call upon it at any time.
Raising your vibration is something that can be done daily. With easy practices, and a bit of intention, you can begin to experience life from a whole new view. One that is higher, and clearer, free from the former frequencies that for so long held you down. Take your energy back into your own hands, and rise!
